Programs are located throughout New York State with the nearest ones in Syracuse and Binghamton. Well worth traveling to even if you're in Ithaca.

  • SMART Recovery is a good alternative for people who don't feel comfortable with 12-Step recovery programs. Its mission: "To empower people to achieve independence from addiction problems with our science-based 4-Point Program." Unfortunately, there's currently no regular meeting in Ithaca; the closest meetings are in Binghamton, Syracuse, and Towanda (PA).
